Description
Annaba, Bône, or Bona, town and Mediterranean port, northeastern Algeria. Its location on a natural harbour (Annaba Gulf) between Capes Garde and Rosa early attracted the Phoenicians,It passed to the Romans as Hippo Regius, was the residence of the Numidian kings, and achieved independence after the Punic Wars. Hippo Regius later became a centre of Christian thought, housing the Council of Hippo (393 CE) and forming the bishopric of St. Augustine (396–430).

After breakfast spend the morning visiting the site of Hippone, the museum, and the Cathedral ofSt. Augustine.the ruins of the 'Basilica of Peace' where Augustine was bishop. Annaba the coast, visit Cap De Garde, historic mosques, downtown Annaba. Dinner will be taken at the hotel.
